Annual retreat gallery

Leicester 2007

The annual retreat is an opportunity for each group to briefly describe its current research interests to the other groups, and to new members. In addition to the group leaders' presentations, the evening poster session is a very relaxed and informal way of discussing some of the more detailed aspects of the individual research projects. As you'll see below, there are also many social recreational activities, always a great opportunity to capture embarrassing and compromising positions on film.

The 2007 retreat took place on 27-28 September at Leicester University, and despite less-than-perfect weather the event was a great success as usual. Many thanks to Jon Pines, Magdalena Zernicka-Goetz and the Admin team (Suzanne Campbell, Ann Cartwright and Lynda Lockey) and everyone else who helped organise the event, and special thanks to John Overton, The Smiths (James & Jim) and Pete Williamson for taking all the photos.
