Opening Symposium, 23-24 June 2005

Babbage Lecture Theatre, University of Cambridge

To mark the opening of our new building, and to honour our eponymous founding Chairman, the Institute hosted a symposium in which leading experts in cell, developmental and cancer biology discussed their latest work.

We're very grateful to all the speakers (listed below), to the administration team who made it happen, and of course to everyone in the audience who supported the event and helped us celebrate the opening of the new Institute. We were particularly pleased to see many old friends who returned to Cambridge for the event. We hope you'll agree that the symposium was a great success, and hope to see you all again soon.

The Institute was officially opened by Professor Sir Aaron Klug, former Director of the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge.
