We are located in the Wellcome Trust/Cancer Research UK Gurdon Institute at the University of Cambridge.
We use the nematode C. elegans as a model system to study the regulation of chromatin structure and function in transcriptional and post-transcriptional events and genome organization. We combine large-scale high-throughput sequencing and computational approaches with targeted genetic and genomic approaches (e.g, high-throughput sequencing, genetics and transgene analyses). We also conduct RNAi screens using the RNAi feeding library that we constructed, available from Source Bioscience.
Much of our research is supported by The Wellcome Trust.
