Abstract

The early amphibian embryo has been widely used as a model organism for studying early

vertebrate development. In this chapter we describe in detail a new and very efficient method

for generating transgenic Xenopus embryos. At the end of the chapter we also introduce a new

method for fertilizing in vitro matured oocytes.
