John Gurdon elected Fellow of the Science Museum Group

25.07.22 Members of the Gurdon Institute gathered to raise a glass to Sir John Gurdon in celebration of his Science Museum Group Fellowship.

Dame Mary Archer, as Chair of the Science Museum Group, visited the Institute to present the award. John was nominated and elected “In recognition of his extraordinary dedication to science through his tireless laboratory work, his exceptional contribution to developmental biology, notably showing that the specialisation of adult cells is reversible, and for his support of the Science Museum”.
